Kelsey & Lance’s Charleston, South Carolina garden party wedding encompassed all things spring in Charleston, including rain showers that never let up! Along with that, Kelsey & Lance’s excitement for their day never let up! Rain or shine it did not matter one bit. Personally, when we have a rainy wedding day, and our couples trust us fully, we get some absolute incredible images! There is something so nostalgic about the sound of rain, the calming ambiance it exudes, and the care-free feeling it creates. It is funny because the idea of it raining on your wedding day is stressful, but once you are in it, now it’s raining and you have no other choice but to embrace it. You find this light-hearted feeling that may not have fully been there otherwise! Not to mention, we create some beautiful rainy wedding day spring magic. It rained on my wedding day as well, and it is some of my favorite memories.
We utilized beautiful parasols and clear umbrellas and had absolutely so much fun with it. Kelsey and Lance were most definitely the life of their own party, and every detail chosen for their day was so intentionally them. They even spent an entire year writing hand-written notes to each and every guest, including myself with the sweetest little Charleston bib for Bowie.
Truly love these two and honored to have been a part of their day!
