San Francisco, California Wedding in the Fog
Laura and Ryan’s San Francisco, California Wedding took place at the highest point in San Francisco, Mount Davidson. The most special part about their location is that they are the first people to be given permission to get married there! The Mount Davidson cross they got married in front of is 103 feet tall and serves as a memorial of the Armenian Genocide. Ryan is Armenian and his parents sit on the cross council and were therefore given special permission to use the location as the backdrop for their day! The story is incredible and the location so symbolic, beautiful and unique and it was truly the biggest honor to be able to document it all!
Laura and Ryan’s day was also the first time I learned that the San Francisco fog had a name, “Karl.” Karl the fog really showed up, and in my opinion, made the day even more magical. When I saw what the weather was going to be like at the top of Mount Davidson and the stunning fog taking over the trees, I was so excited! Fog on some wedding days might be a slight bummer, but in the midst of a tall beautiful tree line, it’s magical.
I am so happy Laura and Ryan chose me to document their stunning San Francisco, California wedding day! I wish we could re-live it all over again!
