Sarah + Scholtz

Sarah and Scholtz’s stunning California spring wedding in Modesto was one for the books in 2022! They chose to get married at Sarah’s family home where her sisters had also gotten married! The sentiment in the location for their day made it that much more special and intimate. They still threw a big incredible party with all of their people though while maintaining that feel!

Colton (Byford Films) and I were so excited to be a part of it all! Especially because I was told many times that the minute Sarah had gotten engaged, that she had emailed us while still celebrating at her engagement party that night! Stories like that mean the absolute world to us and make us even more stoked!

Sarah and Scholtz were also high school sweethearts and Scholtz is originally from South Africa! So they had nods and references to being from different parts of the world that they incorporated into their details, and it was the most personal touch! These two were an absolute joy to photograph and simply be around and wish we could document their California spring wedding all over again!
