Erika + Travis

Erika and Travis’ Cayman Islands wedding weekend in the British Virgin Islands was a highlight of 2024! Grand Cayman is such a special place to their families, with Travis’ grandparents buying property and spending decades traveling to the island and then bringing their kids and grandkids there year after year. So when Travis and Erika met, it quickly became a second home to them as a couple as well. They go scuba diving regularly on the family boat and visit Stingray Bay. We went out with the wedding party the day after the wedding and visited Stingray Bay also and it was so much fun!
The first night we arrived we photographed a fun sunset beach party outside of Travis’ grandparents place. Erika & Travis pulled up in their boat and all their guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks and local music. The next night was a welcome dinner at a restaurant on the beach. We took some stunning sunset photos of Erika and Travis and photographed all the pre-wedding day fun. Every single evening on Grand Cayman had the absolute most gorgeous sunset with cotton candy skies!
Wedding day was filled with so many intimate moments, and one of my favorites was the saxophonist leading the guests from the ceremony to the reception while playing “Higher Love.” Sunset followed again shortly after, Erika had a dress change, and we created some golden hour magic!
The next day we went out with Erika & Travis on their boat to wrap up the wedding weekend!
Colton and I are so thankful Travis and Erika showed us a place so special to them and their families and allowed us to document their stunning Cayman Islands wedding weekend!
