Kiona and Matt’s Tulum, Mexico wedding was one of my favorites to date! This was my 4th time visiting Tulum and photographing a day and truly it never gets old. It was also Colton’s first time in Tulum and he got to video the day! It has definitely become one of my favorite places in the world to shoot and I never thought I would say that about somewhere that really is so close! Especially being from the south it makes it really easy to get to Mexico! We photograph Tulum, Mexico weddings at least once a year as well as have at least one or two other weddings in Mexico each year as well! Thanks to the amazing Diana Romo Weddings, they are almost always with her and her team and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Kiona and Matt live in Napa Valley where Matt’s family owns a well-known vineyard called Silver Oak Cellars! Kiona and Matt actually met while Kiona was working there! There were lots of incorporations of their families vineyard as well as all their other favorite wines that they have tasted and loved while traveling around the world.
Kiona and Matt also started off their beautiful Tulum, Mexico Wedding by having a stunning rehearsal dinner at Wild Tulum. The ambiance of the evening was unreal and the setup was amazing with florals by Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design!

The wedding day at Sanara Tulum was filled with so much time relaxing during the getting ready process + the most beautifully intimate ceremony with all of their closest friends and family! The food and wine were so good + the dance floor was epic, and I’m already dying to go back soon. Kiona and Matt’s Tulum, Mexico wedding will forever be one for the books!
