Mexico Wedding at Hacienda Acamilpa
Taleen and Chris’ Mexico wedding at Hacienda Acamilpa was one for the books! One of the most stunning venues I’ve ever photographed at! Their venue was an old hacienda about an hour outside of Cuernavaca. This was the first time I had ever photographed a Mexico wedding that wasn’t on the coast and I was so excited to explore more of the country! When I pulled up the venue my jaw instantly dropped. There were vines and flowers growing all over the walls of the hacienda as well as stunning stone arches everywhere. The most stunningly unique aspect was definitely the tunnels where Taleen and Chris had their ceremony! Their ceremony had so many beautiful elements and traditions, and although my Spanish isn’t good enough to understand what they were saying haha, there were so many tears and I could feel their love fill the room.
I really loved how both Taleen and Chris didn’t have official wedding parties! They had about 550 guests! haha but no wedding party keeping so much of the day intimate and focused on them! Then when it was time for the ceremony and especially the reception, it was one of the most wild dance parties I have EVER witnessed, even for a Mexico wedding! They never stopped dancing and I never stopped shooting! Their day was also full of the most beautiful details I have ever seen. You’ll see my blog is full of them! It is safe to say this day was a top favorite Mexico wedding!
